JOE TURLEY -
Co-Owner & Founder
Joe Turley, a proud graduate of the Wyoming Technical Institute, offers an extensive and varied background in both Automotive Technology and Business Management. His expertise in these fields is complemented by a deep-seated passion for the world of auto repair. When Joe isn't dedicating his time to automotive pursuits, he finds immense joy in exploring swap meets and flea markets, where he often discovers hidden treasures.
Joe's hobbies reflect his profound appreciation for classic transportation. He loves to restore, drive, and collect vintage vehicles and motorcycles, each project serving as a testament to his dedication and enthusiasm for automotive history. In addition to his passion for vehicles, Joe has a unique interest in old neon signs, appreciating their nostalgic charm and craftsmanship. Furthermore, his fondness for parrots adds an eclectic touch to his array of interests, showcasing his diverse and multifaceted personality.
DWAYNE BEGNAUD -
Co-Owner & Founder
Dwayne Begnaud, a native of a quaint Louisiana town, honed his mechanical skills early on while working on vehicles with his six older brothers. His childhood was filled with learning the ins and outs of troubleshooting the ATVs that he and his brothers enjoyed.
At 15, Dwayne relocated to Orlando with his sister, and later graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1991. Initially pursuing a career in construction, he eventually followed his passion for automotive technology, becoming an Auto Technician in 1995 at Coggin Honda of Orlando. There, he quickly rose to an ASE Master Tech and participated in the Southeast Honda Top Tech Competition in 1998.
After his tenure at Coggin Honda, Dwayne embarked on an exciting journey with his friend Joe, leading to the establishment of Orlando Import Auto Specialists. In his downtime, Dwayne continues to indulge in his love for ATVs and 4x4s, keeping the spirit of his adventurous youth alive.
